I have made a start on my list. Progress thus far:
Art/Creative
4. Read the last 12 Guardian book club books Have not started these books but read the book I got from my mother in law for Christmas in 2 days, which is not bad for me.
7. Write a short story I have got an idea and have written about 2 pages of random paragraphs. Wee teaser for you – it’s got something to do with water.
11. Take a daily photo and publish on blipfoto Started this on my birthday and a button linking to my journal is here →
Fitness/Physical
18. Reach my ideal BMI (again) I obviously haven’t done this yet but I weighed myself (aargh) and I now know exactly what I have to do, which isn’t quite as bad as I had anticipated.
19. Climb Ben Nevis Again, this hasn’t been done, but chatting to my extended family the day before my birthday and loads of them want to do it too. So a date will be set for the summer.
20. Ride pillion on a motorbike Not done it yet, but I know a man (an uncle to be precise) who will take me. I am scared.
21. Walk daily Yes – every day so far!
25. Drink more water (and less wine) Hmm – well it was going well until Hogmanay and then…
So, quite pleased with progress and have a lovely feeling that all this activity is going to make the last year of my thirties a pretty good one.
